AMAC: INEC officials yet to arrive at polling units despite high voter turnout

Prospective voters and security agents reported ahead of INEC officials at 8:30 a.m. for the Presidential and NASS elections at Garki Village polling unit 004 in Abuja.

However, INEC officials, sensitive and non-sensitive materials were not on the ground while voters complained.

Also, at 8:30 a.m. at Garki Chief Palace polling unit 002, INEC officials were not spotted, though security agencies were fully on the ground.

However, voters in both polling units were of good conduct, as the atmosphere was peaceful and calm.

The News Agency of Nigeria correspondent on the field observed that food vendors, yam and akara sellers, in particular, were making brisk business at the venue.
