The Fulanis neither forget nor forgive. They can hold a grudge for generations. In fact, it is a disgrace for a Fulani to be weak when avenging. They mobilise from far and near to go on a revenge mission.

We are suffering in the Northwest because of the activities of some vigilante groups on innocent Fulanis. They made a pledge that for every one innocent Fulani killed, they will kill 100 of the perpetrator tribe. It is not a threat; they mean it and they implement it.

My advice to these agitated Yoruba youths is to allow their Governors to take charge. They can organise themselves and keep an eye on how the police handles the arrested criminal Fulanis. They can also play a part in identifying CRIMINALS among the Fulanis through coordinated intelligence and hand them over to the government then keep an eye on what happens. But taking the law into their own hands should not be an option. It is dangerous, very dangerous to them as a people.
