What has become of journalism in this country? In the past, you could put some trust in the few media houses up north, so when I read the story of a kidnapping gang leader's story on DailyNigerian, I thought it had some merit. 

Then the police came up with a scary twist to the story; a pregnant woman was burnt alive in the process of "arresting" the gang leader. And now this picture of a 75 years old blind man.

 This is the man for whose arrest AFENIFERE immediately released a statement to praise OPC. Virtually every newspaper down South carried a screaming headline of the arrest of the KILLER HERDSMAN!!

 It looks like every time the Yoruba wants power or are in power, the blood of the innocent poor northerner flows freely.
