UFDG ally calls for Guineans to mobilize to prove that Dalein is the elected president ’’
The Union of Democratic Forces of Guinea and the National Alliance for Alternation and Democracy (ANAD) have called for street demonstrations on November 25 across the country.
After a truce of a few weeks, the UFDG and its allies decided to make their voices heard in the streets. On November 25, they plan to pound the pavement to claim the victory of Cellou Dalein Diallo in the presidential election on October 18.
‘’ The aim is to call on the Guineans to confirm what they did on October 18. If they voted for Elhadj Cellou, we ask them to prove to the world that he is the elected president, therefore the winner of this election, "said Kéamou Bogola Haba of ANAD.
“Guineans need to understand that Elhadj Cellou won in five of the seven regional capitals. He won abroad. We can't stop him from making a show of force, the people need it. If it was Alpha Condé who won if we let the people express themselves to show it to the world, "he adds.
These street demonstrations planned throughout the national territory also aim to '' denounce the arrests and detentions of opponents to the third term are at the central house in Conakry and some in Kankan and others in unconventional prisons in across the country, '' according to the honorary president of the Guinean Union for Democracy and Development (UGDD).
