Discrimination and Violence Against the Fulanis
Over 125 incidents and clashes have occurred between Fulanis and other groups, in the period of 2017 to 2023, with little NPP  government intervention or support.

The Fulani herders have been attacked, their cattle killed and some stolen, their properties destroyed, leaving them vulnerable and without recourse.

NPP Government Failures
Despite the presence of large Fulani communities in 15 regions of Ghana (with over 190 scattered communities), the NPP government has failed to address their unique challenges and needs. The government's lack of engagement has perpetuated the cycle of poverty and exclusion.

Fulanis have limited political representation, perpetuating their exclusion from decision-making processes. This lack of representation has meant that Fulani concerns are often ignored or marginalized in policy-making.

Call to Action
The NPP government and Samira Bawumia must acknowledge and address the Fulani community's challenges, ensuring equal access to social services and infrastructure development. The government must take concrete steps to address the systemic neglect and discrimination faced by the Fulani community.

Fulani representation in local government, etc, and decision-making processes are necessary for meaningful change. The government must ensure that Fulani concerns are integrated into policy-making, and their voices are heard in the development programs and initiatives that affect their live.

The Fulani community in Ghana faces unprecedented challenges under the NPP government. It is essential to recognize their struggles and work towards inclusive development. Unfortunately, politicians like Samira Bawumia have exploited the Fulani community for political gain, using them as a tool for votes. while neglecting their basic needs and rights.

Instead of providing access to social services, infrastructure development, and political representation, Samira Bawumia  and the NPP government have chosen to perpetuate the cycle of poverty and exclusion.

The Fulani community deserves better. It's time for the government to prioritize their needs and address the systemic neglect and discrimination they face in the country.
