Post-election violence: the Dalein camp poses two non-negotiable conditions for a way out of the crisis

To defuse the post-electoral crisis that continues to plague families, a joint United Nations, ECOWAS and African Union mission has been in Guinea since Sunday.  Contacted by VisionGuinee, the camp of Alpha Condé's main challenger asks diplomats to work for the respect of the truth of the ballot box

“There is a deep crisis.  The international institutions which have been in Guinea for years know what happened.  This is a phenomenon that has developed up to this electoral masquerade.  These institutions realize that the re-election of Alpha Condé is a fake, ’’ says Ibrahima Chérif Bah.

According to the vice-president of the Union of Democratic Forces of Guinea, "this mission must be able to declare Cellou Dalein Diallo the winner and settle him in order to have peace in Guinea.  These missionaries must review the evidence that shows Cellou won.  That's all.  Because there will be no peace without it ’.

“Those who cry for peace are hypocrites.  We have to accept the truth.  The source of this conflict is the fraud, the masquerade that Alpha Condé has made.  This is the danger the CENI has put the country in by fabricating results as Cellou Dalein Diallo emerged victorious.  Until that is sorted out, there is nothing to be done, "persists and signs the former governor of the central bank.

“If they want anything else, we have to redo the election under UN supervision, with a UN hierarchically controlled CENI, neutral observers who will go to the polling stations instead of staying in Conakry.  This is the minimum that we can accept, "he says.

Cellou Dalein Diallo's party announces that it does not intend to let Alpha Condé continue to lead Guinea.  “He was not elected.  I campaigned and saw the momentum of the people of Guinea who no longer want him, "says our interlocutor.
