Notification of Turbaning as Garkuwan Garki By Isa Dogonyaro
"It is with a deep sense of humility and honor that I wish to inform you that the Emir of Ringim, Alh. Dr. Sayyadi Mahmoud CON had given his blessings to the District Head of Garki Alh. Kabiru Sayyadi Ringim the Dan Iyan Ringim to confer upon me the title of Garkuwan Garki.
"The prestigious title of Garkuwar Garki (the Shield of Garki) was connferred on my late mother Hajiya (Dr) Laila Dogonyaro OON in recognition of her invaluable contribution to the development of our community in the year 1995. The title is now being conferred on me with the high expectation that I will follow the footsteps of my late mother.
"The Turbaning Ceremony is to in shaa Allah take place on the 1st of January 2021 (in shaa Allah) at the District Head’s Palace in Garki LGA of Jigawa State.
"This is merely a notice and a solicitation for your prayers and well wishes before formal invitations are sent. May Allah SWT grant the late Garkuwar Garki eternal rest and May He guide and protect me in the discharge of this responsibility. Ameen.
