1. IN PICS: Emir Of Kano, Government Officials Attends Burial Of Dr Ahmad Bamba
Emir of Kano, HRH, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, Kano State Deputy Governor, Dr Nasir Gawuna, prominent clerics, political leaders and ordinary persons attended the funeral prayer and burial rites of Sheikh Dr Ahamd Ibrahim Bamba, the Kano-based Islamic Scholar, who died Friday morning at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital at the age of 82.
He was buried at Dandolo cemetery, Goron Dutse in Kano city, on Friday afternoon.
The deceased was a lecturer at the department of Arabic language in Bayero University Kano before he resigned to focus fully on his Islamic propagation school called Darul Hadith at Tudun Yola in Kano metropolis.
The Sheikh’s death comes four days after that of Alhaji Bashir Tofa, also a prominent Kano indigene.
