Former Bayern Munich’s assistant coach, Hermann Gerland joins the DFB

Bayern Munich's former coach Hansi Flick is completing his staff crew at the German national team. He took some of his assistants from the Bavarian club to his new job — at the DFB. And now, he also officiated the arrival of a legendary coach, the Tiger!
In a presser, Hansi Flick talked about his plans for Germany. He had talked about what we can expect from him as the manager of the national team. He also announced, according to sports1, that he’ll bring in his former colleague from Bayern Munich.
Hermann Gerland will soon join him and start helping with the preparations for the upcoming matches. According to the same source, Gerland’s role is not yet strictly defined, but it is speculated that he might work in the scouting system.
Hansi Flick is a huge admirer of the Tiger and is looking forward to working together with him again. Flick told: “Hermann will do the DFB incredibly good.”
