Sardauna Muslim Ummah Peace and Unity Forum (SAMUPUF) had it meeting today in Gembu town
The emergency meetings was held at the Muslim council secretariate in Gembu, its members and other muslims leaders from close and far distances were in attendance.
Several issues being faced by Muslims Umma across the Plateau were discussed, including preferable solutions that can foster peace, harmonious co- existence and what can ensure security of lives and properties of people across the Plateau.
SAMUPUF expressed great worries over recent burning of some settlements at Tunga Luggere by suspected farmers from Tunga Luggere village suburbs of Nguroje.
The body asked the security agents to investigate the remote caused of the disagreement that led to the attacks and burning down of the settlements which resulted to rendering fellow Muslims brothers and sisters homeless.
SAMUPUF advised who so ever involve in the dastard act of burning the settlement be fished out and made to face full wrath of the law irrespective of status, gender or communal of origin.
SAMUPUF equally expressed worries over alleged activities of Nyalaade Hesre members reported to be a Christainized group of people in the midst of muslims found to be promoting evangelism under cover of providing humanitarian and community services with hidden motives of luring in the vulnerable ones like widows, orphans, children and the destitutes into Christainity.
SAMUPUF said every individual or group of people are entitle to their personal decisions and have full constitutional rights to choose any religion of His/Her choice to follow but not by hiding in the midst of others in pretence of serving humanity with hidden motives.
Members of Nyalaade Hesre have been advised by SAMUPUF to come out and show themselves to the society and accept to have been Christainized, and to avoid exploiting the vulnerable ones in exchange for peanut from Missionaries to lure them into Christainity, to call a spade spade, double facedness remains only problems of SAMUPUF with the members of Nyalaade Hesre and those bankrolling its rampaging activities across Mambilla plateau and its environs.
Nyalaade Hesre members have been warned by SAMUPUF to desist from its satanic decisions of luring the weaker ones into Christainity under disguise of community and humanitarian services, if otherwise, Nyalaade Hesre members will definitely won't escape from wrath of SAMUPUF and the entire Muslims Umma across Mambilla plateau.
SAMUPUF unanimously called the authority of Muslims Council in Sardauna LGA and the Mambilla traditional council to jointly investigate the under cover activities of the Members of Nyalaade Hesre in the alleged under cover promotions of evangelism and Christainization of the vulnerable ones within Mambilla Plateau and its environs.
The priority of SAMUPUF remains on preachings for peace, unity, brotherhood and harmonious co-existence of muslim Umma across Mambilla plateau as well as to speak on behalf of the muslims on the challenges facing or any threats targeted at muslims Umma on the Mambilla Plateau.
Finally, SAMUPUF members prayed for peace, love for one another, harmonious co-existence among the muslims umma and the entire inhabitants of the Plateau in general its equally prayed for a blessful and beneficial rainy season for farmers and grazers across Mambilla plateau.
