Just In: Daura emirate suspends Sallah durbar over insecurity
The Daura Emirate in Katsina State has suspended all celebrations for the upcoming Eid-El fitr to commiserate with victims of bandits attack in some communities and other insecurity in the State and the nation at large.
The decision of the Emirate was made known to press in a statement dated the 6th of May 2021 and signed by Danejin Daura, Alhaji Abdulmumini Salihu on behalf of the secretary of the council.
The statement further said that special prayers will be offered for sustainable peace in the state immediately after the Eid prayers on Sallah day.
