Hundreds of PDP members, decamps to APC in Kaduna
Hundreds party members of the People Democratic party (PDP) on Saturday the 14th of November, 2020, decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zonkwa, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The decampees were received in Zonkwa At the unveiling of the APC YOUTH PROGRESSIVES FORUM, by Hon. Rebecca Barde, the APC Zonal Women Leader.
The State Party Chairman, Air Commodore EK Jekada Rtd, in his remarks, encouraged the good people of Southern Kaduna to see the need to join the progressives family and continue to support the good policies of His Excellency, Gov. Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai led APC administration, which has continued to positively impact on the lives of citizens across the state.
The decampees aired their dissatisfaction on poor approach of the PDP and continued disregard to public interest, Adding that they decided to abandon the PDP and handover their membership; and join the APC in order to contribute to the ongoing developmental strides across Southern Kaduna and Zangon Kataf Local Government Area in particular; and Kaduna state at large.
Also speaking at the event, Mr Luka Elemain Mutum, the patron of the forum Said more decampees are still preparing massive defection from the PDP to our great party for its great ideals and public oriented interest, envisioned to directly impact on public interest.
