‘He Put His Hand In My Private Part’: Adji Sarr Makes Bombshell Claim Ousmane Sonko Raped Her And Threatened He Could Kill Her And No One Would Know
Adji Sarr said top Senegal opposition leader Ousmane Sonko put his hand in her private part, placed her on the ground and raped her, in bombshell claims that have set tongues wagging in Senegal and The Gambia.
Sarr is the woman who accused Sonko of raping her, with the issue degenerating into Sonko getting briefly detained amid riots where people lost their lives. Sonko has denied raping the woman.
But Sarr broke her silence on Tuesday telling the Senegalese media the politician did indeed rape her in 2020 as she gave her a massage at a massage parlour she worked at.
“He held me from behind, took his hand and put it inside my private part,” Sarr said.
“He told me ‘you will lie on the ground by force and I will do what I want’. He then placed me on the ground, took the oil that I was massaging him with and poured it over me and got on top of me,” Sarr said.
Tens of thousands of people in Senegal and The Gambiw watched Sarr’s record-shattering interview where she also dismissed claims she was raped at gun point.
“People have been saying I said he pointed a gun at me. He did not point a gun at me. He only told me ‘did you see my pistols?’ and ‘I have some [of these arms] that I can give to my people, people who can kill you and no one would know’,” Sarr said.
The woman said Sonko forcefully slept with her multiple times – and challenged the politician to swear on the Quran if he never bedded her.
