Guinea:FNDC also refuses to meet with ECOWAS, AU and UN mission
The international joint mission staying in Conakry to try to defuse the crisis has work to do. After Cellou Dalein Diallo refused to receive the delegation at his home, the FNDC, in turn, announced that it did not intend to meet with the mediators.
In a message, the anti-third term movement expressed its refusal to meet with the mission of ECOWAS, the African Union (AU) and the United Nations. The FNDC believes that the members of the delegation have an "overly simplistic approach to a rather deep crisis caused by Alpha Condé".
At the beginning of October, during a meeting in a hotel reception desk, the FNDC coordinator, Abdourahamane Sanoh told ECOWAS his four truths in the presence of the President of the ECOWAS Commission, Jean-Claude Brou, from Ibn Chambas, Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General in West Africa and Cessouma Minata Samate, Commissioner for Political Affairs of the African Union.
His movement called for mobilization on Monday to demand the departure of Alpha Condé. He encouraged economic operators and companies established on Guinean territory to refrain from all activity.
