FIFA Cancels U17, U20 Women World Cup Tournaments
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has cancelled the next edition of FIFA U17 and U20 Women’s World Cup tournaments.
The present global situation of the COVID-19 pandemic was given as the major reasons for the cancellation.
India was expected to host the next edition of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in 2021, while Costa Rica on the other hand was given the host rights of the 2022 edition of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.
