Players and officials of the team have been worshiping in the central mosque since the team arrived in Garoua for their group D games at the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations.
The gesture to support the ongoing building project was appreciated by the leaders of the mosque.
The Imam and the population of Garoua thanked the player for this wonderful gesture.
Nigeria will play Tunisia on Sunday in the second game of the round 16 knockout phase at the Garoua stadium.
