President Barrow Congratulates H.E. Macky Sall on Senegal’s 62nd Independence Anniversary
On the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of Senegal’s ascension to sovereignty, H.E President Adama Barrow extended his warmest congratulations as well as the sincere best wishes of the Government and People of the Republic of The Gambia to the Government and the friendly people of the Republic of Senegal for more prosperous socio-economic development.
This year’s celebration coincides with the start of Ramadan which is an opportunity to renew our faith. President Barrow is optimistic that the Ramadan period will help everyone to walk the path of peace and strengthen the unity of Muslims and the brotherly bonds between the Ummah.
President Barrow renewed his best wishes for His Excellency, President Sall’s well-being and the continued progress and prosperity of the People of Senegal and the esteemed Senegalese community in The Gambia. He also prayed for the continuing friendship between the two countries.
