Nigerian Ambassador to Jordan dies at 75
Haruna Ungogo, the Nigerian Ambassador to Jordan, Hashimite Kingdom of Jordan and Iraq, has died at the age of 75.
DAILY NIGERIAN gathered that he died on Sunday morning at Garki Hospital, Abuja, five days after admission.
Family sources said his remains would be buried in Kano on Monday
He served as Secretary to the Kano State Government and later Rector of the Kano State Polytechnic.
He nominated to serve as ambassador by President Muhammadu Buhari in In October 2016.
