Eto’o supports military fighting Boko Haram in Cameroon; donates to displaced kids
Former Barcelona legend and Cameroonian star striker, Samuel Eto’o has so far rendered support towards many activities in his home country including contributions towards the fight against insecurity in Cameroon.
Recent among such is his decision to meet up with the military team fighting against terrorist group, Boko Haram at the Far North region for Cameroon.
The award winning footballer and philanthropist took the opportunity to do some charity works by giving support items, including school items to about 1500 kids displaced by the activities of the militant group.
Eto’o equally made some contribution to support sports development in the region by donating football kits to the main league in the Far North.
Samuel Eto’o has, through his foundation done a lot of charitable works in his home country; his activities became even visible during the peak of the pandemic.
He donated relief items such as soaps, sanitizers and protective equipment to residents of Douala, his hometown and other places such as Buea, Yaounde and Baffoussam to aid the fight against the deadly coronavirus.
