Egypt, Iraq Discuss Military Cooperation
Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi held talks in Cairo on Saturday with Iraqi Defense Minister Jumaah Enad Saadoonn to discuss military cooperation between the two countries.
The talks also dwelt on joint military training programs and exchange of expertise between the two countries, according to a statement issued by the Egyptian Presidency.

The discussions also tackled a host of Arab and regional issues of mutual concern, the statement said.
According to the statement, the Egyptian president received a message during the meeting from Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi in which the Iraqi premier hailed Egyptian support to Iraq at all levels.
Sisi, for his part, reiterated Egypt’s keenness on boosting cooperation with Iraq
The statement did not give any details about the Iraqi minister’s visit to Cairo and for how long he will stay in Egypt.
