Black M Honors Legend Fatou Linsan in His Latest Music Video “Maître Yaya”
French music star Black M offered a poignant tribute to legendary pastoral singer Fatou Linsan during his recent visit to Guinea. Taking advantage of his stay, the artist clipped the song “Maître Yaya”, a cover of the iconic song “Nabhorelan” by the late musical icon.
This piece, present since 2019 in his album “Il Upon a Time…”, represents for Black M an important musical heritage that he wanted to honor while being on Guinean soil. The song “Nabhorelan”, made famous by Fatou Linsan, is revisited by Black M in a clip imbued with respect and gratitude towards the cultural heritage of Guinea.
