A Kano Upper Shari’ah Court has ordered the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone I, to produce a police officer with the rank of inspector for disobeying the court.
The court had given an order to the police officer to appear before it but he refused.
Earlier, one Alhaji Sa’idu Abdullahi filed a suit before the court seeking justice that the inspector, Abba Shariff, sold to him a plot of land at Hotoro at the rate of N2 million but the papers given to him were discovered to be fake.
The judge, Mallam Abdu Abdullahi Waiya, adjourned the case until January 24, 2024.
