The Gambia to host International Forum on Governance – Says UN Special Coordinator for Development

UN Special Coordinator for Development in the Sahel, Mr Abdoulaye Mar Dieye informed President Adama Barrow about his office’s proposal for the hosting of an international forum on governance in The Gambia. Mr Dieye made the pronouncement today at the State House in Banjul when he made a courtesy call on the Gambian leader.

The UN Special Coordinator for Development used the occasion to congratulate President Barrow on his reelection, adding that he is impressed with the strides The Gambia made in its governance agenda, from which the countries in the Sahel and beyond can learn.
