GOV BADARU TO ESTABLISH 200 NEW NOMADIC SCHOOLS, EMPLOY 270 HERDERS

The Jigawa state Government is set to establish two hundred new nomadic schools and also employ ten herders from each of the twenty seven local government areas of the state.

The Executive Governor of Jigawa state Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar disclosed this when he received the leadership of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Jigawa state Chapter.

According to the governor, his administration is focused on ensuring that every citizen of the state benefited from the state's government effort to increase access to education and also improve the living standard of herders across the state.

Earlier, the state Chairman of the Association Malam Adamu Adamu said that they were at the government house cement the existing relationship between the government and their members.

According to him, the state government must be commended in it's effort to ensure that there is peaceful coexistence between farmers and herders across the state.

He also said that with the support they are receiving from the government the members of the association will continue to do their best to ensure that peace continue to rain in the state and would fish out any criminal elements among them.
