There was never a time we told the public that Kaduna State Government refused to pay our Salaries, and we never hired anybody to do so on our behalf, Coalition of newly employed staff clears the air

The newly employed staff of Kaduna State College Of Education Gidan-Waya, Kafanchan, has stated that they have no involvement with the allegations made by Mr Leonard Sam Ali, a concerned citizen, who alleged that the Governor of Kaduna State Mallam Nasir El-rufai, has refused to pay them their salaries. They added that though the issue linger, there was never a time they spoke to the public about it, or hire anyone to speak on their behalf, due to the fact that they are aware that the delay is very much connected with the outbreak of the Corona virus pandemic, which the State Government and the management of the college are sincerely and tirelessly working to ensure that the issue is resolved amicably.

In a statement made available to Kaduna Political Affairs on Sunday, the Coalition said, "The newly-employed staff wish to state categorically that it has no connection whatsoever with the said post. In fact, there has never been a time the new staff speak to the public about this issue or hire anybody to do so on its behalf. All this while, apart from being resolute in prayers, the new staff have waited patiently and remained deeply grateful to the state government and the management of the College for their sincere and tireless efforts in ensuring that this issue that lingered since February is resolved amicably. The new staff are aware the delay is very much connected with the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic which necessitated the closure of the College and other institutions across the State.
