Sad news:Malawi Defence Force (MDF) acting spokesperson is Dead
A Malawi Defence Force (MDF) acting spokesperson, Major Kelvin Emmanuel Mlelemba, has confirmed the death of private Christopher Sadik who had a hard landing during training at Parachute Battalion in Salima
Major Mlelemba says details of the accident shall be released when the family of the soldier is notified. But our sources say the hard landing followed failure of parachutes to open while private Sadik had left aircraft mid air.
Private Sadik hailed from Chinangwa Village Traditional Authority Mwambo in Zomba.
